Azeroth Journal [February 2008 Issue]
Return of the Warlock
January was very light for me and WoW. I logged on for the first time (other than getting honor points for my Warlock) a couple of weeks ago. I got an invite into my first guild after transferring to WildHammer, and ran Heroic Arcatraz with two outsiders–only to end up wiping a few times and disbanded right away. I was a little rusty with my macros in different places for PvP situations. I manage to re-arrange them before anyone [else] died. I guess it didn’t matter if I was distracted. So far, I like this guild. Many of the members are quiet, just like me, but they’re not like the last one I was in on Stormreaver…
This server is very good–for PvE. The Alliance are terrible PvPers: they run whenever they see you–along with another Paladin and a Rogue. At least I won’t have to worry about many griefers. The only thing good about this server is PvE. The Shadowburn battlegroup for the Horde is doomed. What’s worse, it seems that the Alliance are boycotting Alterac Valley because Blizzard fixed a problem that the Horde could have boycotted if it wasn’t fixed sooner. I manage to join in on a couple of AV rounds despite the standstill. I have ~2400 honor from yesterday, which should make it around 10k with the honor I previously had after it rolls over.
I would like to finish the Burning Crusade before Wrath of the Lich King comes out. I want to keep progressing on my Warlock, and get into Karazhan before then. As for my Paladin, I may not level it again until I get somewhere with Warlock. Good news, is that Soundtrack was recently updated! This should get my motivation back. Now, to look for more Final Fantasy tunes…
That’s all to report for January. I’ll be back with another update in March. However, I will continue to report Breaking News in Azeroth. To end this edition of my Azeroth Journal, here are three favorite AddOns I use, selected at random:
