I haven’t done these in a while. Since I won’t be posting much this week so I get things together for a upcoming local event (*hint*), I’m going to keep readers busy with stories I found on Anime News Network. The good thing about this is that I haven’t been to these site in a few weeks. If I haven’t seen it, it’s new(s) to me. ^_^
- There’s good news and bad news. First, the good news: Blue Dragon finally gets an air date! The Series Premiere is set for next Saturday at 10:30 PM EDT. I’ll have something to watch when I get back from the convention. The bad news: Dragonball Z is nowhere to be found in the schedule since Blue Dragon takes the time slot. Speaking of Blue Dragon, a new series in the franchise is set to air next month in Japan.
- The controversy over Death Note is heating up in America: a student was expelled from a school in South Carolina for having a replica of the Death Note with fellow student’s names written in it. I have a bad feeling about the future of the franchise…
- I’m glad I’m not a Gaara fan. A former High School student was arrested after posting a video to YouTube with a threatening message to students with quotes from Gaara from Naruto.
- Speaking of Gaara…a boy dies after imitating a stunt from Naruto involving a sandbox. My condolences to the parents. I hope they don’t start banning Naruto, as well as Death Note. Gaara is bad for you…
- Read these two stories and tell me if they make sense…Sounds like a scheme to blow up streaming anime.
- The Fullmetal Alchemist manga sells over 30 Million copies! I hope someone in the dealers room at the convention will have Volume 16, since I’m strict on spending until then.
