$24.48 Well Spent
May 9th, 2008 | By Sanjo-chan | Category: RamblingsI finally got my copy of Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops that I ordered from Amazon.com in the mail Monday, and along with the game, there was a coupon for one free Southern-style Chicken Sandwich (and a Southern-style Chicken biscuit for early birds) from McDonald’s. This was a good buy, especially since I went through all the trouble finding it at GameStop last weekend. The total of the order was $24.48; $19.99 for MPO and the rest in S&H. I wonder what I could have gotten if I chose the 2-day shipping.
Honestly, this was the best deal I have ever gotten. I’ve been having a hard time looking for what I’m looking for since the year began. I would either have to order them online, or just put it off until later, and hope that it will still be around until then. A few months ago, I had a Best Buy coupon with 10% off that I took with in with me so I can get a small discount on Death Note, Vol. 2, along with the limited edition figurine. When I went to the checkout, I could not find the coupon. Disappointed, I had to pay the normal price: $40. Luckily, when Vol. 3 came out, I only had to pay $20!
As for Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, I’m lovin’ it! (Pun sort of intended). This will keep me occupied until Metal Gear Solid 4, and learn more about the Metal Gear universe. And for the Chicken sandwich, I have yet to try it, but I will soon. Personally, the only sandwich I prefer is the Big Mac.

That’s cool, you finally get your hands on MGS. Have fun ^^
Yeah, I already finished playing it, the best PSP’s game ever (in it’s genre), and I love Ashley Wood’s artworks in the game. Now I’m going to collect all my 5 colors genome soldier in MPO+, but very busy lately
don’t know when will I get them all, right now I only have green, red and blue genome soldier.
@BaseGuardian: The artwork is awesome, but personally I wish they had used 3D cut scenes like in the MGS games on the bigger systems, but I can see that the PSP is not quite powerful enough for something like that, lol.
