Final Fantasy XIII Heading to Xbox 360

The announcement was made at this year’s E3 Gaming Expo from the folks at Square-Enix. The long running franchise, originally exclusive to Nintendo systems in the late 80s (and today with Tactics Advance and the Crystal Chronicles series), then on the Sony Playstation in 1997, will now make an appearance on Microsoft’s Xbox 360 game console. Many Xbox 360 owners are pleased with Square’s decision with the release of the 13th installment of Final Fantasy, some are not, with myself included since I’m not much of an Xbox get a life, fanboys girl.
There’s a catch, however: it’s only being released in North American and Europe. This means Japanese Xbox 360 owners will have to buy the PS3 version. This is understandable seeing the Xbox wasn’t welcomed in the land of the rising sun in the first place. Congratulations to Xbox fans, but as a long time Sony fan, I’m sticking with the Playstation.

the sony fanboys are pissed but I don’t care really. More than likely i’ll still be playing the Ps3 version. I prefer my single player experiences on playstation.
@ Jamaipanese: Agreed. I don’t understand why Sony fanboys are upset. Really…I’m upset that the Xbox fans are dissing the PS3 fans because of this. They should know that the PS3 is better than the Xbox 360: PS3 has a free online service, and no red rings of death…
