Code Geass Cut Down to One Episode on Saturdays

We'll we see the second season of Code Geass before the end of the year?
Wondered why Code Geass didn’t air twice on Saturday night and instead was greeted by two guys named Tim and Eric, who are in desperate need of girlfriends? It’s all because of Adult Swim’s new schedule arrangement in an attempt to get rid of anime.
As of September 13th, Shin-chan and Inuyasha have been pulled from the schedule, and, for the 3453rd time, we see a schedule with half anime and half non-anime shows. So pretty much the only anime running on Adult Swim are Bleach, Code Geass, and if it lasts any longer, Moribito – Guardian of the Spirit. However, Fullmetal Alchemist returns in place of Shin-chan. But as a fan who has watched the series twice, who cares?
Here is the new Saturday night schedule (Eastern Time):
Bleach – 11:00 PM
Fullmetal Alchemist – 11:30 PM
Robot Chicken – 12:00 AM
Aqua Teen Hunger Force – 12:15 AM
Metalocalypse – 12:30 AM
Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! – 1:00 AM
Assy McGee – 1:15 AM
Squidbillies – 1:30 AM
12oz Mouse – 1:45 AM
Bleach – 2:00 AM
Fullmetal Alchemist – 2:30 AM
Robot Chicken – 3:00 AM
Aqua Teen Hunger Force – 3:15 AM
Metalocalypse – 3:30 AM
Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! – 4:00 AM
Assy McGee – 4:15 AM
Squidbillies – 4:30 AM
12oz Mouse – 4:45 AM
Code Geass – 5:00 AM
Moribito – Guardian of the Spirit – 5:30 AM
This means Code Geass will only be ran once–and at a inconvenient time of 5 AM. Let’s hope they give it more time before the second season of Geass airs right after the end of the first season.

To be honest.. i kinda liked Adult Swim but now they suck … cuz they put up anime but later change the schedule and then deletes it off their schedule and i am like “what da f*** I was watching that).. and i got so sick and tired of it.. recently i was watching Bleach cuz of the dub.. then they start to have reruns and i was like… damn it.. they need to put reruns on weekdays or someday on the weekday.. but no they make it go all the way back to where it all started but sometimes half way back… so basically .. right now.. i don’t watch anime on adult swim any more cuz they are lousy when they set up a schedule and when they put up boring stupid cartoons.. but i like Family Guy and Futurama on adult swim.. funny as hell and i was glad to see some random anime.. but damn.. i wish there was a anime channel.. but.. oh well.. i want a anime love channel, anime action channel, anime comedy channel and more.. but it won’t happen cuz of ratings and all.. I don’t really know but i just wish they put more anime on tv channels.. cartoon network only puts up anime on Saturdays.. from 9pm – 11pm. which sucks.. but there are only a few anime -_-.. back then it was always weekdays.. I was glad.. on da weekdays i always watched DBZ.. lol.. oh well.. enough said.. adult swim sucks.. period..

Yes, it’s sad that Adult Swim is slowly moving away from anime. If they don’t do something soon, there will be no more Bleach, and definitely no more Code Geass–no anime at all!. The SciFi channel seems to be doing well with their anime. If worse comes to worse, maybe Viz will have Bleach moved to the SciFi channel… It’s the perfect show for SciFi since all they show are those poltergeist shows, lol.
It’s also funny that many anime channels that did exist are going off the air..remember what happened to The Anime Network? It used to be 24 hours, now it’s On-Demand only. And Colours TV used to have the FUNimation Channel block. Yu Yu Hakusho, Kiddie Grade, Blue Gender, Tenchi Muyo GXP, and the first Dragonball. The best lineup ever and it was taken away from us. ‘Tis a sad time indeed..
