No, this isn’t fanart–for once… It’s the real deal! These are new scans for the upcoming Dragonball special, Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return! The special is being created by Akira Toriyama himself for the upcoming Shonen Jump 40th Anniversary tour in 10 Japanese cities that begins on September 21st.

The concept image shown above shows a new character named “ターブル” (Tarble/Taburu = Table). He looks so much like Vegeta! Hmm… There are also more character scans featuring villans–who look like Dodoria’s offspring…

The names of these characters are Aka, Kado and Abo. They appear to be “The Lost Servants of Freezer”, in my opinion because they are wearing the same Saiyan armor Vegeta wore during the Saiyan arc. :P

But really… This is great news for Dragonball fans, including myself! There’s a live action movie coming out next year (though I know many might not want to see it), and this! What’s next?

@Sandykun: It’s not a manga…It’s a brand new anime! :D The scans are from the new Dragonball (Z) movie. ^^ I think it will be released in November of this year. …But a new Dragonball manga isn’t a bad idea. ^_^
