If you want to taste the candy, you'll have to get through Byakuya!

I have found something truly amazing in the world of Japanese snacks. I would like to introduce you to Kusagai Gummy Candy! It’s a really fun (and addicting) snack that comes in different flavors: Muscat (Green Grape), Grape (Traditional Purple Grape), Kiwi, Peach, Strawberry, and Litchi. There could be other flavors, but this is all they had at my local World Market.

After trying out a very different グミ candy I found during a trip to Arkansas in 2007, I thought I wouldn’t be able to eat Japanese gummy candy again, but this reassured me that not all candy taste like something Shin-Chan brought home from school. And this is even better than gummy candy you can find just about everywhere else: a small bag of Gummy Bears will take a few days to consume, but a bag of Muscat Gumi goes pretty fast.

World Market sells a good quantity of the stuff (and many more), but a local Asian grocery might have them.
