Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Confirmed for April 2009
Edward Elric is Back!
Back in the summer, Anime News Network had a couple of tidbits on the possibility of a second Fullmetal Alchemist series. The first was a mention from Studio BONES‘ press release indicating possible production of new series for Darker than BLACK and Fullmetal Alchemist.
Officials at BONES stated that they were interested on working such projects, but it was not confirmed. A couple of months later, the release of Volume 20 of the Fullmetal Alchemist manga included a wrap-around announcing the second season of Fullmetal Alchemist, but with no further information. On December 7th, the new FMA series was officially confirmed Proof: here’s the trailer for the new series that is set to air in April 2009!

YAY! I think I’ll actually watch the Subbed version of FMA 2 because I just won’t be able to wait! Usually dubs suck majorly, but FMA is one of the few that I actually like better in English. Vic Mignogna fit SO well as Ed, so does Aaron Dismuke as Al, and Travis Willingham as Roy. They’re AWESOME! But I just don’t think I’llbe able to wait that long. Hey, it’ll give me a reason to watch the whole series twice! (Like I’d actually need one)

I think that the developers should have picked up from where the first season left off. I am pissed that the ending of the last episode was left as a cliff hanger and the fact that the developers didn’t try to continue makes me even more mad.

so basicly… FMA 2 are episodes from 26 to 51? why is everyone talking about this Season 2? whole episodes were online since 2006/2007. subed of course. and then came the movie. which ended with ed and al in our world right? then why the fuck is this called season 2? they should’ve said that it’s only going to be a remake of original 51 episodes. pissed off am I !!! :@

People just called it season 2 before the name was released. It’s offical name is Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. and it’s not a remake of the first it’s a remake to follow the manga because the first doesn’t at all. within the next couple of weeks things that never occurred in the first will start to happen.

This season is completely different. It’s one made to follow the manga. n after the last season there is a movie that is more or less the conclusion to the first season.

the first season fml is cool and i tought there would be a season 2, but now there is fma brotherhood, the serie(ehh how do you say that)starts al over.
now its more like the manga but, i like the first season more.
fma and fma brotherhood are verry different.
I hope that there wil come a season 2 of that first season.
