Interesting Find: Anime Magazine Cover

I purchased the April 2009 issue of Otaku USA a few days ago (about time after getting irritated seeing Simon (Gurren Lagann) on the cover for 4 months-ish). This issue’s main feature is all about Dragonball GT… That comes after a year since the Dragonball Z feature–but with less Dragonball stuffing in places where it didn’t need to be mentioned. But instead of Goku, Vegeta (sans the mustache) is on the cover. Goku is still on the cover… Just [way] behind him.

I’m really hyped about seeing Vegeta on the cover. If Vegeta was a real person, he’d be pretty proud! Come to think of it, I’ve never seen him on the cover of anything else but the manga or on a DVD cover. I seldom see Male Anime characters on the cover of an Anime magazine except when the next Gundam series is featured that has a few Wing-ish boys in it.
