Summer 2009 Anime Lineup
Summer is almost here! That means it’s time for the 2009 Summer Anime Lineup! Unlike the Spring 2009 listing, where we found new series to enjoy for years to come (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Valkyria Chronicles, and K-ON!), the Summer list doesn’t add up to the imagination. (Not to mention that I’m not finished with the Spring series).
There is nothing on the list that would leave a lasting impression as the Spring lineup, in my opinion. (I guess Summer and Winter aren’t as good as Spring and Fall).
However, there is one show that I have an excuse to watch: Season 2 of Hetalia Axis Powers. This show was recommended by a member of BBAMAJAM, and is one of the most controversial Anime series in Japan due to the portrayal of Koreans in the series.

Nice blog. Just got back from Anime Central and honestly saw nothing new that fascinated me. But I did see things I ad missed before so, for me it looks like Baccano! is worth looking at.
