Ignition Entertainment is running a Fan Art contest for the 12th installment of SNK‘s long-running Fighting game series, King of Fighters.

On the Fan Art page, you can preview recently uploaded Fan Art for the contest. You can also upload your very own KoF Fan Art for a chance to win $1000, a game console, and a copy of KoF XII on a system of your choice! The contest started on April 12nd, and will conclude on July 31st.

Head on over to the KoF XII website to enter! King of Fighters XII will be released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 on July 7th.

Speaking of Art, Ignition is asking for help from King of Fighters fans to vote for their favorite box art for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of KoF XII: the US version or the Japanese version? The poll is currently in its 2nd Round and will conclude on May 22nd.
