Female Korean Pop Star Ivy‘s “Temptation of Sonata” is quite the topic not just around K-Pop communities, but around Final Fantasy fansites as well… The Music Video for the song looks suspiciously similar to Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. That’s because it is based on Advent Children—used without permission.

Of course, Square-Enix filed a lawsuit against the director of Temptation of Sonata, Heong Jong-Ho for coping off of Advent Children. The Korean law firm associated with the suit raised the fine not too while ago, seeking 400 Million Won ($326,000 USD) in damages after a failed appeal since the initial suit in March 2008.

In regards to the song its self: it beat of the song isn’t very Final Fantasy-ish (it’s definitely nothing of Nobuo Uematsu’s work), but simply just another game inspired K-Pop song…
