Gamespot’s Rumor Control has a story on the possibility of a new game in the Metal Gear series–6 months after the release of Guns of the Patriots.

On Konami’s webpage, there’s an image showing the hint, “A Next Metal Gear is…“, and above are two exclamation marks: one upside down and the other one right side up, and a Power On indicator as on the Playstation 3…or the Xbox 360.

…This is also happens to be a coincidence following the rumors of a new cut scene that might be added on December 12th…exactly 6 months from Metal Gear Solid 4′s June 12th release.
