The good thing is that I'm close enough to LA that it's not a concern. The big point though are the guests that AX is able to pull in and that's usually worthwhile just to watch and/or talk to. I do hope to be able to go this year, but that's going to depend on some interesting people popping up. Morning Musume just doesn't cut it.

Heh. I just went to my first con (A-Kon) two weeks ago. As of now, Anime Expo is way too far away for me to even think about going there. I think I'll stick with local conventions for now.

I attend Anime Expo as press every year. It's also because it's the only con that is near by where I live other then Anime LA. AX has also taken care of alot of the crowd and registration problems there have been in years past. Last year there weren't any horrific registration lines like in years past. But the lines were always long for registration in years past people just made a huge deal about 2007 for whatever reason. The crowds and everything like that are not as bad as people make it out to be as well. Alot of people are just complainers and feel they have the right to complain about every little thing that doesn't go their way which is really immature. But they continue to come back every year.
