I’ve mention many times on Twitter and on this blog… but failed at the right time to write about it due to neglecting the blog earlier in the year. But as we catch up with the events from that part of 2010, I would like to talk about my role of being a Guest Contributor on BBAMAJAM.org.

Officially launched in February, the website of the Boogie BAM Anime Jam club based in Chattanooga, TN, is the home of news, con reports, reviews of Anime, Manga, Video Games, J-Dramas, the original webcomic, “Oh My Otaku!”, opinions, and so much more from BBAMAJAM’s resident writers.

The writing team is made up of ProdigalNick (President of BBAMAJAM), Zippy (host of Tokyo Tower FM and Vice President of BBAMAJAM), Erica, Noodle, and Phantom Dark. Guest writers of Thom, The Cay (co-host of Tokyo Tower and Konoha Corner), and myself–the club secretary, also contribute to BBAMAJAM.org’s growing library of content.

A few examples of content BBAMAJAM.org has to offer is a review of Le Portrait De Petit Cossette from Thom, The Cay’s interview with LittleKuriboh of Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Abridged Series, and Zippy and ProdigalNick‘s recap of (Swi)MTAC.

There is also my own contributions to the website, such as reviews on Mobile Suit Gundam and Metal Gear Online for the PS3, and a couple of personal stories on my life in Vana’diel moving to Eorzea and what it’s like being an Otaku culture blogger.

The BBAMAJAM is also dedicated in bringing you convention reports from various conventions in Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, North and South Carolina, Kentucky, and Alabama, including the recent PersaCon convention in Decatur attended by Zippy the convention weekend.

BBAMAJAM is also working with GaijinUSA and Sukoshi Con in Birmingham, AL, the latest arrival in the tread of One-Day conventions in the Southeast US. If you register for VIP membership on the Eventbrite page, a percentage goes to helping out the club!
