Ah…the good old days when Final Fantasy XI was the only decent MMORPG available before World of Warcraft took over the online gaming market. At the time, Fullmetal Alchemist was a huge in both Japan and the US. What happens when you take the citizens of Vana’diel into the world of Hagaren? An awesome flash video! This video was made several years ago by a Japanese FFXI player, who is obviously a fan Hagaren, taking character elements from Final Fantasy XI (which is now commonly known as Machima) and the fourth opening theme of FMA, featuring “Rewrite” preformed by J-Rock group, Asian Kung-Fu Generation. The results are sweet. The next time you go to Bastok, don’t forget to see Colonel Mustang!

Megwin TV is Japan’s answer to the controversial MTV television series, “Jackass” — only available on YouTube. While the original Jackass is down right obscene, Megwin gets a little creative with their stunts. In this video below, we see what happens when tons of bath tablets gets thrown inside a bathtub. Looks like fun to reattempt, but you know the saying: Don’t try this at home!! Check out their channel if you’re up for the challenge of seeing people do stupid stunts. Although, many of their videos are a bit “safe”, viewer discretion is still advised.

Japanese Soft Drink manufacturer, Suntory, made a commercial earlier this year for their Coffee drink, “BOSS”–featuring American Actor, Tommy Lee Jones. It seems that Alien Jones, Mr. Jones’ character in the commercial, is working for a local Otaku television station. The end of the commercial is cute, yet a bit disturbing. This isn’t the only commercial starring Jones, it appears there’s a series of them.

I had a great time at JAMPcon last month, and what made that experience more enjoyable is being a part of a group of Bleach cosplayers, earning us the title of what I like to call, “The Chattanooga Gotei 13″, or “Bleachers”. The theme of the convention is Final Fantasy VII, but us “Bleachers” won the convention in the end.
xorsyst requested a video of with me doing the dance from the Bleach Rock Musical, preformed by Gin Ichimaru, “Hallelujah Goodbye”. However, this is a really short video, so I only get a few seconds of air time. I’m on the first person on the left at the start of the video. Enjoy, Bleach fans!
