Follow Me on Twitter!

Yup, I have a Twitter account, and everyone is welcome to follow me! I just started using Twitter full-time after a couple of doubts on whether I can get people to follow me, a`la StumbleUpon. After a little work, I’m having fun!

Using Twitter is like using an Instant Messenger program, but it’s delayed–like a text message sent from phone-to-phone. You can actually use a phone (such as an iPhone) to keep up with fellow Twitterers from anywhere. There is a catch to using Twitter: you must write a tweet in 140 characters or less. This is one of the things that drew me to try out the service, since I don’t have time to keep up with very short posts that no one would read on a LiveJournal on MySpace.

Now that you know the basics of Twitter, how about giving it a try? You can also follow me and stay up to date with latest posts from CEN.TAKU.ME! ^_^

  • I am now following you! By the way, the wacky girl with the Puff-Snape icon is me just so you don’t think you’ve got a psycho following you. Err, you might think that anyway. actually. ^^;

  • Awesome. I was just listening to a podcast where they were talking about twitter, and it made me rejoin, I’ve tried it a couple of times but always end up giving up.

    One thing I’m considering is getting a text messaging package for my cell phone. Twitter will accept SMS messages, so it may be worthwhile to get one of those 250 messages for $5 a month packages, but I’ll have to get more into twitter to be willing to do any paying for usage.
