The next song in the Ni-Ongaku Spotlight series is さくら by the Japanese Pop-Reggae band,　ケツメイシ. It is one of my favorite songs from the group. I got into Ketsumeishi from a friend I met on an anime forum a few years ago. He sent me “夏の思い出“, which I fell in love with. Originally, I was going to show the video for 夏の思い出 instead of Sakura–but it’s no longer available…

The video shows a Salaryman meeting a girl sitting under a cherry blossom tree. They start going out, until one day she snaps and walks out on him. Things were going very well. I never really understood that part…
