Here’s a very, very catchy song by the all-girl J-Pop group, Morning Musume, “Love MACHINE”. I first heard this song covered by SWEK, a band who performs songs from various Anime and Japanese groups, at Anime Central in 2005. From the sound of it, I thought it was a song from the Cowboy Bebop OST I never heard before… Long after the concert, I forgot all about the song, until I read Patrick Macias’ “Cruising the Anime City” about Morning Musume’s popularity among middle aged men in Japan. I decided to check out a couple of their songs, until I found the song I heard SWEK performed.
