[Guide] Paying Subscriptions for MMORPGs – The Easy Way!

You’re interested in playing an online game, but do not have the payment method available to give it a try? There is an alternative other than getting a credit card from a bank, store or gas stations.

Disclaimer: I am not to be held responsible for debt or fraud that occurs with these kind of cards. Read the “Terms of Service” of the card you choose before purchasing. You will not find those “You’ve Won a $1,000 Gift Card!” crap here. Do not contribute to this post for it either. This is an informal article for a way to play your favorite MMORPG without asking for your parents/guardian or friends for their cards. :)

Visa (or Mastercard) Gift Cards are good to remedy this problem. They come in $25, $50 or $100 amounts. You can buy them from CVS or Rite Aid. There is also an activation fee of $3.95 for the $25 cards. The fee varies on the value of the card you purchase.

Note that gift cards are non-reloadable. Although, there are Pre-Paid Visa Cards from Green Dot. They require a $9.95 activation fee and a $4.95 reload fee. This is an excellent option for those who have bad or no credit to apply for a real, unlimited credit card.

  • -.-… wish it was that easy for me… I live in India and no target riteaid or anything here, this place is hell for Maple Story players >.> I need nexon cash cards from target/7-eleven/CVS/Rite Aid etc and no one I find can get me one and the friends I asked to help me out just backed out after promising to get me for my birthday -.- … I would have been grateful for a $5 or $10 card even but they were like “I’ll buy you a $25 Card! you’ll have the best birthday ever!” and when my birthday came they all had excuses and backed out…

Sigh… the above post sounds so tempting T~T I wanna live in USA or Canada T~T I can at least get NX cash cards there T~T…

Thanks for the post it’s most enlightening.
