[Review] Bleach – Episode 183

There was something about that Shinigami after all. Go get \'em, Kira!

There was something about that Shinigami after all. Go get 'em, Kira!

Since there’s no new episodes of Bleach until August 20th, I thought I’d do a short review of 183. ;)

Warning: This post contains spoilers! Read at your own risk!

Kira manages to get Captain Amagai’s attention when he explains 3rd Seat Mifune’s sneaking around. Amagai gets a hold of Ichigo, Rukia, and Lurichiyo’s fiance and attempts to bring them in for kidnapping. However, Amagai agrees to help them out after hearing what was going on. It’s about time someone listened…

Hitsugaya visits Kyoraku and Ukitake and notifies them about another captain’s meeting on a possible rebellion between the squads. I think they’re a little late for that…

Renji confronts Iba as both of their squads look for Ichigo, but they clash with each other as one another is told to go back to their posts. The same thing happens with Madarame and Hisagi. Sounds like a reenactment of the Soul Society arc.

Meanwhile, Kira plays hero and goes out to save Princess Lurichiyo, but one of Kumoi’s henchmen shows up to stop Kira.

Basically, there’s nothing new in this episode, except the fact that they finally put two and two together and pointed fingers in the right direction…we knew that when the arc started.

Rating:

★★★☆☆

Reminder: There’s less than a few weeks left until the second Bleach movie comes out on DVD in Japan! I will do a review of it as soon as it’s uploaded and reviewed. I can’t wait!
