The ratings used under the Reviews and Impressions categories uses the 1-5 scale, starting from bad to good. Here’s an idea of what the ratings are like:

1 – Terrible – “This is no good, and it is not recommended”
2 – Needs Work – “It has potential to be decent, but it needs more explanation. A rental is in order”
3 – Fair – “It’s neither bad or good, but it’s worth checking out”
4 – Great – “This is pretty good, and it has the potential of becoming a classic”
5 – Excellent – “‘Nuff said! I highly recommend this!”

The Impressions category contain a small preview of the series so far, along with a small review and a suggestion of whether it is recommended or not (including the ratings shown above). The Reviews category contain a complete overview of the series, as well as an overall opinion of the series in question (including the ratings). Please note: reviews often contain small spoilers.
