Snow Villers: A Designated Favorite?

Snow Villers

While we’re waiting for Final Fantasy XIII to come out, it’s time to think about the next memorable character in the franchise’s history. Since the announcement in 2007, we’ve found out about Lighting, Sazh, Oerba, and the character who I think will change the way we found our favorite Final Fantasy characters, Snow Villers.

Snow made his debut at E3 last year, wearing a black bandanna, trench coat, black zippered gloves, and heavy boots. He reminds me of Auron…only younger, sans the “Nog” bottle, sunglasses—and a giant sea monster. (You could also add a dash of Irvine Kinneas on the side. And being the fangirl that I am, Snow is very cute!).

I think Snow will have a chance at being a memorable character, when you consider the following: 1) FFVII was the first PSX game, and has tons of memorable characters. 2) FFX was the first Final Fantasy game to have voices-and a few favorite characters among a fan-or thousands. 3) FFXIII will be the first next-gen (since FFX) multi-platform FF game. See what’s going on here?

There are already discussions on Snow fanart and cosplay… And the game isn’t even out yet. Well, at least outside Japan until late-Spring 2010… or so the story goes.

Will FFXIII Exceed Expectations?

  • Definitely! It will be better than VII and X (90%, 9 Votes)
  • I don't think so... I'll sit this one out. (10%, 1 Votes)

Total Voters: 10
