Sorry for the delay of the usual heads up on the latest anime season. This time it’s the Summer 2012 season. I should be sorry, since we’re a month into Summer, and school starts back for those aiming for higher learning in a few weeks!

While the Spring season had a decent showing of titles (Nyarko-San, Kuroko no Basuke, Kids on the Slope), the Summer season leaves only Kingdom and Campione as the most talked about series of the current season. The other titles on the chart says more than the aformentioned series to you, the reader. But the series Sword Art Online has caught my interest…

Of course, summer seasons don’t have many interesting shows anyway. Summer is all about movies such as Rurouni Kenshin – Shin Kyoto Hen: Part 2, Fairy Tail: Houou no Miko, and Naruto Shippuden: Road to Ninja. Finally, there are OVAs such as the recently released fifth episode of Gundam Unicorn for those who want to stay out of the heat.
