Death Note Becomes Reality
I never thought this would happen…Somebody is actually making the Death Note a reality by leaving a note that says “Watashi wa Kira desu” (I am Kira) next to two bodies in Belgium. This is a horrible way to murder someone, especially since the anime premiers on Adult Swim this Saturday. This story is a couple of weeks old, but as soon as the anime is on the air, and with the movie getting a UK premier, this would give people a reason to say anime [and manga] is a bad thing.

Dear, writer that sounds just horrible but I’d still not blame it on the Anime Death note…
Dear, writer that sounds just horrible but I’d still not blame it on the Anime Death note… Because it may have mention of death in it but it is the viewer. Who makes the choice to be influenced by the behavior distributed by?
The character known as Kira derived from the English word killer.
So, anyway you may reply this if you’d like anyone who desires to contradict my theory or has his or her own personal opinion on this matter may indeed reply….
I would first like to start off by saying that you should have read the police report first and how it’s highly likely it might have been a joke by medical students and secondly to say that people will think that Anime and Manga is a bad thing is very short sighted. People always have and always will use outlets to justify their actions they do it with music and video games as well but I highly doubt the majority of the public will be goated into it or even care and think it’s just a childish and shrug it off like it should be. Don’t jump to conclusions until you’ve seen all sides of the story instead of believing what the media might say even if they covered it a lot in Japan it’s over no one cares give it up.
And FYI ANY way to die is a horrible way to die don’t you think?
@Moody and Ryan:
First of all… This story is nearly 2 years old. Dated October 2007, to be exact. Yes, it was about a week after I posted this, they reached a dead end in the case, so it pretty much didn’t have anything to do with Death Note (seems to be just a “college” prank)… So, who cares?
You didn’t have to tell me to read the whole police report. I was simply worried that people were going to use this against Death Note… and Anime as a whole. I’m a fan of Death Note, and I don’t like it either when people take things out of proportion–like what’s happening here in the comments.
