Do you only buy boards from series you know? Which board was the most expensive one you got?

My collection has grown pretty big and I use a binder to store boards. Really handy. I never thought I would hit the triple digit mark when I started collecting boards, but I did!

Two purchases and your Shitajiki are safe for years to come....a 3 ring binder or more if necessary, and as many specially made see-through "plastic" pencil board holders as you need. These envelopes are already 3 hold punched. Also it is a good idea to keep your shitajiki away from the sun in a nice cool room. At one point in time I had over 100 shitajiki, sold a few over the years, but still am very, very proud and happy with my collection! Good Luck...

I currently own 7 of them. I am actively looking for new ones, but I like to buy them from Anime cons, but I've been having a hard time getting to one to due funds. Of course, I could seek them out online. ^^

I came across this page randomly and thought a shitajiki guide was neat. I collect boards too and wow, are they addicting!

One of the things I really like about boards is that you don't need to watch a series to collect them. The FMA spoiler board is one of the few FMA boards I own but it's my favorite out of the FMA bunch. It's a favorite in my general collection which is pretty cool! I actually haven't watched FMA but that's fine when collecting shitajiki. :)

How many boards are in your collection?

@ Eve: They could be easily accessible if you have a place on your wall to hang them like posters and manage to keep them away from foreign hands (and objects). Personally, I keep them safely hidden away in a small storage box on the top of my bookcase. ^^

Twice in size but I'm guessing more than twice in price!

Beautiful examples you've got here. I was given a Shitajiki from the series "Phantasy Corp", along with a promotional t-shirt. The shirt is long since faded but the board is still going strong.

To me, these are a lot more aesthetically delightful that figurines, though I imagine they're much less accessible right?

Oh damn, that FMA one makes me want to cry all over again. I swear, every time I see that episode or read that chapter I start balling like a baby. Hell, Maes was the subject of my first AMV. *sniffs*

ANYWAY

I love your Bleach Shitajiki. I really want one with Byakuya without a shirt on for once. Renji's good looking, but we always see him without a top. Give us some Byakuya guys!

Oddly enough, I've never been a hard core shitajiki fan. I've got a few for series I love, but I'm more of a doujinshi gal myself.

(whoops, I think this comment got posted on your DeathNote movie post too. Sorry! Can you delete that one please?)

<em>Joana's last blog post..<a href='http://nanashi-inc.net/weblog/2008/episode-167-of-bleach-is-having-fun-teasing-the-fans/' rel="nofollow">Episode #167 of Bleach is Having Fun Teasing the Fans</a></em>
