To Live Blog, or not to Live Blog?

“Live Blogging” is something that I’ve been wanting to do for a long time since I started CEN.TAKU.ME. Live Blogging is what it says it is: blogging live from an event, or simply blogging in real time just for the heck of it.
Danny Choo recently launched a Live Blogging section on the recently redesigned dannychoo.com, where Danny posts updates from his iPhone of Akiba and various places in Japan.
Just in time for Anime Weekend Atlanta, I recently got a new phone myself. Unfortunately, it’s not an iPhone (or Blackberry Smartphone) class phone. It’s just a standard cell phone—with some pretty decent features such as a camera, video capture, audio recording, and Bluetooth connectivity.
I’m debating on whether to live blog from AWA. If I do, it won’t be when every time something epic happens (which will probably be every 5 minutes). Just a simple quarterly update using Ping.fm from the mobile browser or SMS to update Twitter and the upcoming CEN.TAKU.ME Facebook Page. Let’s see what happens…
Zippy (@TokyoTowerWAWL) of Tokyo Tower FM and @ProdigalNick of BBAMAJAM will be Live Blogging at AWA as well. I need to find a decent J2ME app to keep up with them. ^^;

there has been a real live blogging boom since Danny started doing it.
I look forward to your live blogs for an insight into Anime Weekend Atlanta.

Thanks! I’m real excited about AWA! I’m making sure I take my camera and charger(s). ^^
