Death Note Gets Air Date, Live Action Screening

Death Note is getting ready for a very optimistic US debut. [adult swim] has announced on their message boards that the anime is set to air on October 20th, 2007. This is confirmed after a mystery show was blacked out on their online schedule.

As for the Death Note movies, many will get to see it in US theaters real soon. Viz Pictures has licensed the live action movie, including the sequel, “The Last Name”. The movie is scheduled to air during the Austin Fantastic Fest 2007 in Austin, Texas. This is a very good start for Death Note in the US, especially (and ironically) before Halloween.
