It’s that time of the year again…April 1st… What’s so special about it? Well, it’s probably because things out of the ordinary occur and they go back to normal on the 2nd. April 1st is April Fool’s Day! (Un)fortunately, there’s no jokes for CEN.TAKU.ME this year, but instead I bring a video that will raise eyebrows, especially fans of the series, Death Note.

This is a skit of Death Note that originally aired on “SMAPxSMAP” in 2007. “SMAPxSMAP” is a variety show of the Japanese boyband, SMAP. It’s the same story–but instead of a victim dying of a heart attack, they get gain weight…

Oh, and the title of this post refers to this video.

The title refers to this video I found from the English dub of Death Note, where Light says “I’ll take a potato chip…AND EAT IT!”

Fans thought the way his actor said it was weird, so I decided to make it “weirder”… Bad wordplay, ne? Gomen, minna-san lol
