After contacting my hosting company, Bluehost, they told me they'd received several calls about themes breaking with this upgrade. I had to revert back to 2.8.3, unfortunately I'm now vulernable. Glad I did not update to 2.8, up to 4 different patches just to update a few things because the developers missed loopholes.
