Wowhead: The Head of Gear and Quest Databases

The best site to search for WoW quests, dungeons, zones, and gear is WoWHead. It is one of my favorite websites for information, such as where to find elemental drops to level ranges for specific zones. There are many similar sites, such as Thottbot and WoWWiki, but this is the best one yet. The site also includes maps with coordinates to NPCs, mobs, and objects, which can be recorded to the database for others who are seeking help, with an addon available for download to use your WoW client (Don’t worry, it’s made the same way as all other addons, so it doesn’t interfere with the ToS). Also, if you own a website or blog about WoW, you can embed a code that will reveal WoW-Style tooltips directly on your site! (Example: [Hearthstone])

The community is very informative, where the trusted, top contributors can rate on a players’ comment to make it stand out. If you’re using World of Warcraft’s Armory website, then this is a great alternative. The Armory has side-by-side comparisons between currently equipped and possible gear upgrades. It also tells you where and how to find it, but exactly where can get the said item? Just copy and paste the name into the Wowhead search box!

Pros: Lots of information; improving everyday!

Cons: None!
